“ Had a great meal here of the set menu before 7 pm. It was really busy when we arrived but we were able to get a table. I had the nachos for starters, which was a big plateful. Loaded with plenty of topping, the tortilla chips were thicker than I had anywhere else, and as a result, the ones that have all the topping on them that normally go soggy did not here! Just as crisp. The lasagne was great too, really tasty. The chips that came with it were nice and crispy but still soft inside. The staff were all friendly and helpful. If I was back in Ayr I would be going back to The Meridian Cafe. ”
“ Excellent. Fantastic food, hot and tasty. Service is really good and the Cafe is clean, bright and comfortable. Great place to wait for my rail replacement bus. If I had any criticism it would be the board my burger came on rather than a plate but it didn't retract really. ”

The menu was good with a selection that suited all 4 of us, including both my fussy child and husband. The waiting staff that served us, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. When the food arrived it was fantastic. I was slightly disappointed when I was finished because the food was so tasty! ”
